me like brownies (baked nyc)

You may remember these brownies as being one of the options from the last vote. I really wanted them to win but I wasn't about to cheat, I knew I would make them next if they didn't. I got the recipe from my Baked NYC cookbook. Sources claimed these were like the best brownies in the whole wide world! Ok well maybe they didn't exactly say that...but I had very high expectations. Come on, they were one of Oprah's favorite things and Oprah don't fuck around.

Melty, melty, melty. Mixy, mixy, mixy.



I got this silcone brownie thingamiggy (is it a tray? a pan? a mold? and oh damn I just saw they make one for brownie "pops" too) from Michael's. It is pretty neat, the brownies popped out easily and bite size made it much easier and less messy to serve. Oh and you really must use a pastry bag and tip in order to get the brownie mix to go into these small squares.



YUMMERS! I will be making some goodies tomorrow evening (this lady has to work, booo) for Christmas but probably won't get to blog about it until the weekend so happy holidays yo!
