
One of my co-workers got me this cute cake pan for "administrative professionals" day so when his birthday rolled around a few weeks later I figured it was the perfect time to try it out. I will say cakes are much easier and quicker than cupcakes but the flavor was definitely lacking. I used the recipe on the back of the box and not sure if I did something wrong but it came out very dry and "flour-y." Bleech. And my chocolate glaze was definitely more runny and thin than shown on the box and also in the video on the WS website. But it sure looked adorable! I will try a new recipe sometime because I do want to use this pan again. I wonder if you can just use any standard cake recipe. Think of all the fun frosting and sprinkle color combinations you could do.
